to yours
My Glory,
I've started this letter so many times in my head — on the walk home, in the quiet of the house, in the middle of nights that suddenly feel too long. The words were always there. The courage wasn't. So here it is, honestly, from the boy who arrived one week after you at Total Technical, and whose whole life quietly changed because you happened to look his way.
You were admitted for Business, and then you chose Computer Science — and somewhere in that same year, without planning it, you chose me too. We went from messages, to visits, to hours that never felt long enough. Then we did the bravest thing: we didn't just fall in love — we built a life. A home. Responsibilities shared, expenses split, meals, laughter, disagreements, forgiveness, nature walks, ordinary beautiful days. We moved from one home to another, and every single one felt like ours, because you were in it.
You stood beside me through my whole college journey and my career journey until I completed my course. I need you to know: I didn't achieve that alone. You carried half of it. When people saw me finish, I saw us finishing.
I'm sorry for the quiet between us before your attachment. I wanted things to be right and I didn't know how to reach you — and now that silence is the loudest thing in my life. The house is too quiet. The days are too long. I miss your voice, your laugh, your presence, the way ordinary felt like everything when you were here. I miss us.
I won't pretend I'm not afraid. I am afraid of losing you — afraid the distance is quietly doing what no argument ever could. But fear won't keep me silent anymore. So let me say it plainly: I love you, Glory. Deeply. Completely. Still. I am grateful for every moment we lived together, even the hard ones — maybe especially those, because they taught me that what we have is worth fighting for.
Sitaki kukupoteza, Glory. I don't want to lose you. I don't want our story to end in a season of silence — not when it began with so much light. Whatever it takes, I would rather find my way back to you than learn to live without you.
You don't have to have all the answers today. Neither do I. Just know that there is a door here, still open, still yours. Our home, our memories, my heart — none of it gave up on you. And neither have I.
Until I see you again —yours, always and completely
